The work region was not restricted to the Toronto Area but included visits to Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Huntsville. •Contracted to Bayer to act as their representative for preserving  2D/3D PDS project deliverables. The Polycarbonate  project, executed by Foster Wheeler,  encompassed  2200 ISO's and was in mixed ANSI/DIN standards.
•Assisted Bayer Management in the PDS acceptance and managed, supported, deployed an in house PDS system
•Secured  connection with Access 97 via ODBC to the PDS Oracle database for easy reporting purposes.
Setup Isogen & Iso extraction, Intelligent P&ID’s & EEraceway. Created several reports. Configured DLT & DAT backup. Assured Y2K compliance. Responsible for 6.2=>6.3.1 data/software upgrade. Realized as-built PDS models
Investigate coupling possibilities for Bayer's BPICS AS/400 (Plant Maintenance System) and PDS system
•Setup and troubleshooted designreview 3.7.145. Ran training courses for leads and designers on design review.
Created an on web technology based Graphical User interface to Designreview for easy access.
•Setup and administered a Digital Printing Room which allows retrieval, viewing and printing of high-fidelity plots via the web.
Administered a Digital Printing Room. This Microsoft ASP and IIS 4.0 web-technology based computer system allows retrieval, viewing and printing high-fidelity plots via the web. Explored implementing possibilities of Intergraph's Smart Plant Explorer.

•Co-coordinated the worksharing process between Fluor Daniel and Raytheon and assisted with all aspects of PDS 3D version 6.2; plus EEraceway, PeHVAC, Oracle server & workstation setup. Contributed to the modification of the DDL to allow worksharing. Used PCanywhere and Laplink for remote administration.
•Wrote the specifications and conducted  P&Gs Intergraph PDS 6.3.1 (Movie 4MB) engineering environment, i.e.loaded Windows NT on to TDZ2000 station to act as server, designreview or workstation. Uploaded Oracle 8.03 and PDS 2D/3D 6.3 products, set-up a Test express project and  supported  RDB, pipe specs (pcd and pmc) & Isogen. Created 2D/3D demonstrations and presentations for management appraisal.
•Encouraged people to take benefit of the cost-effective use of 3D (Designreview 134K ) visualization in the construction environment.
•Convered and uploaded PDMS models into PDS Setup up a former Silicon Graphics (IRIX 5.3) PDMS Designreview station to act as FTP server. Employed both  Diskshare and Diskaccess to have a better integration in the overall NT environment.
•Examined the possibilities to have Solidedge interact with PDS; evaluated RSwires, InTools 4.1 and Synegis NFM3

•Coordinated the evaluation of three Product Data Management systems (i.e. AIM, Altris, Novasoft) for the Maintenance, Operations and Engineering Departments of the new Amoco Purified Terephtalic Acid plant.
• Configured   UNIX-emulation, Autocad R13c4/14 and raster software (I/RAS, GTX, CADraster)
